Beautiful Lamp painted shade gives texture

We put two of these over our kitchen island and are very happy with them. The down rod comes in two 12" and two 6" sections so you have flexibility in the length.



The shade is slightly off white and has painted lines reminiscent of fabric or lace. IMO it is much prettier than plain frosted glass shades. There is a little play in the shade and it takes a little fooling to get it level.



The finish on the metal is slightly darker but goes well with our "rubbed bronze" cabinet hardware. There is a chain link at the top of the down rod that hangs from the included plate so it can hang from any angle ceiling or there is a coupling you can use when hanging from a flat ceiling and do not want the chain at the top.More detail ...

Royce Pendant

I like the shape and general appearance of this pendant. The sepia tinted slobe is darker than I could tell in the photos online. If I had seen the actual fixture I would have purchased something with a lighter colored globe. Also I want to use this pendant as a swag. The chain is much too short for that but fortunately the wires are plenty long. I was able to find additional chain that would work at a local builder's supply.More detail ...

Not a new item and maximum wattage incorrectly rated!

This is a very pretty chandelier but be warned that this is NOT A NEW ITEM and is rated for 40 watt bulbs maximum not 60 watts as described here. Even 40 watt bulbs are very difficult to fit in it and press against the glass shade. I returned the first one since it would not hold together because of a previously stripped-out screw hole in the fixture. Amazon sent a replacement but that one too had obviously been installed before as there were small chips in the paint and glass shade plus the ends of the wires had been stripped twisted and slightly corroded. In addition the wire and chain is too short if you have high ceilings. I had to re-wire the entire fixture and replace the chain which unfortunately can not be found in the same finish. I do not think this chandelier is a good value since I could have bought a used chandelier from my local thrift shop for a lot less money!More detail ...

Lovely lit up not so much when off

My husband and I loved how these lights look lit up but were really disappointed to see them when they arrived. They have gold flecks all over them which is not what we expected and they clash with the brushed silver. Put over a light the gold disappears and the beautiful blue pictured shines. But off ugly. Looks like a bowling ball finish. I wish the description had mentioned the gold flecks because we wouldn't have wasted our time and money ordering them and shipping them expedited for our remodel job. One other caveat about these lights: the silver mesh around the cord was badly frayed on one shipped to us perhaps just from being packed into the box so I wonder about the safety and how well it will hold up over time but I can't speak to that directly.More detail ...
